Hi, I’m Rae — educator, curriculum nerd, and Chief Elevation Officer of High Schooled.
I hold master’s degrees in Mathematics Education and Medical Cannabis Science & Therapeutics, and I’ve spent more than 20 years helping people learn complicated things in ways that actually make sense to their brains.
For many years I taught at the university level, working with adult learners, and I’ve contributed to textbooks, curriculum design, and teacher education along the way.
Over time, I became fascinated by how real brains learn — especially ADHD brains — and why so many smart, motivated people struggle with starting and staying focused.

Now I bring all of that together through science-backed cannabis education, ADHD-friendly learning, and creative practices like journaling and reflection.
That’s what led me to create the Starting Spell and the Focus Spell framework — simple, repeatable rituals designed to help ADHD brains actually begin, build momentum, and sustain focus without burning out.
